As Finance Analyst you will have a key role in providing information and insight to support the business in making key decisions throughout its planning processes.

Baker Vaughn Consulting Ltd are working exclusively with a large business looking to recruit a new Finance Analyst to join their team.

The role is part of a fast paced and dynamic team. The business is going through a massive growth agenda with new sites and customers entering our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs covering performance.
• Co-ordinate monthly reporting process to ensure timely close
• Support planning and forecasting processes
• Perform ad-hoc analysis using internal and external data to identify opportunities
• Communicate with regional finance and supply chain teams
• Work with IT support partners to develop our data and analytics system capability.
• Assist with capital investment project evaluation

What do you need for this role?

• Degree educated and potential further education in Finance, Accountancy, Treasury, preferable an MSc in Accounting and Finance.
• Proven experience in an analytical and business-oriented role, ideally within fast paced business.
• Some experience of pulling together data to form clear insights into financial understanding, familiar with Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance, Sage, BI, Pastel and Oracle
• Knowledgeable in Fintech mainly P2P lending and Neo banking
• Advanced excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to articulate clearly.
• Ability to multi-task and produce accurate excellent results in limited time.
• High level of attention to detail
